- Reflection Sheets - these can be used as part of a lesson or after a project is completed and can include prompts such as: What have I learned from this assignment? What did I enjoy about this assignment? What did I find challenging about this assignment? What was the most important thing I learned in doing this activity?
- Reflection Journals - students can keep a weekly journal to record reflections about their own learning, challenges, and accomplishments, in response to prompts that you provide. The prompt might include a question or statement similar to those in the reflection sheets (noted above). You could also make these prompts specific for a particular assignment. Students could write their responses in Google Docs and share it with the teacher.

Online Assessment: Self-Assessment & Reflection
Open-ended and reflection questions are a great way to help students synthesize new information, think critically about their work, and identify new directions in learning. You can incorporate reflection through the use of open-ended questions, or provide formats for more structured reflection.
