Google Drive Tip: Document Preview

Were you ever scrolling through your Google Drive and came across a file called "Untitled Document" but you didn't want to take the time to open it? Or have you ever seen a document's title but weren't sure what was typed in that document?

Google has an easy way to see a preview! If you're using your laptop and you're in Google Drive, just click once on the document's title to select it, then click on the i button in the top right corner. This will open a preview pane on the right side of the screen, giving you a preview of the document.

Alternately, you could press the letter "P" on your keyboard to see a full-screen preview of the document. If you can figure out what it is from the Preview, a quick press of the "N" key on your keyboard will bring up a dialogue box to rename the file.
